About Tina

Tina started meditating in 1997 with the practice of Loving Kindness as part of her personal development. Having returned to full time education in 1999 in communication and Media this led on to complete a diploma course in Maynooth college in Psychology/ Certificate & Diploma in Adlerian Counselling and Massage therapy. Due to ongoing health issues Tina became very aware that the body speaks the mind and realized that Mindfulness both as a practice and a state of mind is always available to us to help us live in this present moment. The life changing experience of having completed the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in the Mindfulness space in Portmarnock in Spring of 2015 and the continued daily practice of meditation has brought her to set up the weekly Mindfulness drop in. 'We see the world not as it is but as we are "(Jon Kabat Zinn). When you're practicing mindfulness, you're fully engaged in whatever's going on around you. Which is so important, with all the technology today taking us away from real life.
In November 2015 she enrolled with the IMA to become an MBSR teacher.
As of June 2017 Tina is now qualified as a Mindfulness facilitator.
Continuing ongoing development Tina studied the course of MBCL - Mindfulness based compassionate living, with author Eril van den Brink and Frits Koster in teach Bhride Carlow in 2018.
